New Conservatory, Lydiate Ash

Following on from adverse weather, the conservatory at Lydiate Ash House in Bromsgrove sustained irreparable damage after a tree came down during the night. Bonser Building Contractors were appointed as the contractors for the project. The works required completely rebuilding the conservatory to match the overall existing layout and design, whilst improving the overall structure with the aid of a structural engineer.

All of the old conservatory was carted away and the low level block and brickwork was removed, from this new brickwork was erected to match the existing building foot print. Once this was done, our shop joiner, Pete Marriot, worked on recreating the conservatory parts for the new structure, this was all performed in house at our very own workshop, once all the parts were ready, they were taken back onto site and assembled via Pete Marriots instructions and overseen by site foreman Adrian Preston.

More will be posted as the works progress…
