Bonser Building Contractors were appointed as the contractor to undertake large scale reinstatement works at a fire damaged property in Balmoral Close, Heanor, Derbyshire.
The fire was to such an extent that the entire roof had to be removed, all the internal plaster stud walls and plaster removed. along with a complete strip out of all internal services. The property had a large scale ‘top-hat’ scaffold installed during the mitigation stages of the works to allow the property to become somewhat waterproof.
To reinstate the works, we were required to install a complete new roof structure and covering to match that of the existing and neighbouring properties, various external UPVC elements damaged by the fire were replaced to match the existing, once the building was fully water tight, the internal first and second fix were undertaken, the client has specified engineered oak flooring throughout the ground floor, a contemporary kitchen and utility, modern shaker style doors, along with a feature colour scheme on various rooms during the decoration stage
